What is the main purpose of Mailissa?

Mailissa’s main purpose is to help Outlook users process emails faster, more accurately, and with less manual effort. Its AI module summarizes email threads, suggests replies, and supports actions like follow-ups and meeting coordination in a privacy-focused way. The connector module links Outlook to your business systems (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Teams, HubSpot) and enables one-click transfer—enhanced by AI suggestions for the right destination. The shared inbox module enables teams to assign emails to colleagues, categorize them consistently, and track status transparently so nothing gets lost.

How much does Mailissa cost to use?

Pricing depends on the number of licenses and your preferred deployment model. Mailissa is available as SaaS for small and larger businesses, and on-premise deployment is also possible for enterprise customers. Licenses start at under €5.00 per user.

Can we custom integrate Mailissa with other tools?

Yes, Axontic Service is designed to integrate seamlessly with various third-party applications, allowing users to enhance their workflows and improve efficiency.

Does Mailissa work in large organizations with 10,000+ users?

Yes. Large-scale environments are one of Mailissa’s strongest use cases. Mailissa has been tested in large organizations and is proven in real-world deployments across multiple public authorities, where scalability, security, and reliable operations are essential.

Where is Mailissa hosted?

Mailissa can be hosted either in Axontic’s own infrastructure in Bremen, Germany, or—especially for enterprise customers—deployed on-premise within your own IT environment. This gives you flexibility to choose between a fast, managed setup hosted in Germany and a fully controlled deployment that runs entirely in your infrastructure to meet strict security, compliance, or data sovereignty requirements.

Do you offer Mailissa for Gmail or email clients other than Outlook?

Not at the moment — Mailissa is currently available only as an add-in for Microsoft Outlook.

Are custom connector integrations possible in the Mailissa Add-In?

Yes. We can provide all the technical information and guidance you need to build custom connectors yourself — or our team can develop the integration for you.
